The Salimo Abdula Foundation (FSA) proceeded, in the village of Marokani, Ancuabe district, Cape Delgado province, to the delivery of five houses that will serve as shelter for part of the displaced victims of the armed attacks that began in October 2017.

For Paulo Oliveira, president of the Foundation, the gesture reaffirms the commitment to actively contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of Mozambicans, as well as face emergency issues such as this, leaving the guarantee that the institution will remain committed so that, in the future, it can contribute to the construction of more houses.

"The Salimo Abdula Foundation embraced the initiative driven by the spirit of citizenship. The armed attacks, unfortunately, caused pain, grief and left several people in vulnerable situations. Thank you for the support of the Government and the Association for Social and Sustainable Development of Disabled Population (ADESS-PD) for the initiative, as well as all the partners involved. The delivery of the five houses is only the beginning for the inhabitants of the village of Marokani to have a life with better conditions," said Paulo Oliveira.
